Monaco Book Worms We are a friendly group of people who live in and around Monaco who meet on the last Thursday of the month to discuss a specific book. The books are chosen in turn by the members. We meet at 20.00 hours in the Library of St Paul's Church, avenue de Grande Bretagne, Monaco, to discuss the book, enjoy a glass of wine with some nibbles and talk about topics that arise from the book. This is not a highly structured organisation but rather a friendly group, drawn together by enjoyment of reading and discussion of books in a pleasant atmosphere. We have all found that by joining Bookworms we have broadened our reading. We have read books that we would not normally have chosen - and the resulting discussions have always been stimulating! The book for the March meeting is: “The Guernsey Literary & Potatoe Peel Society ” by Mary Anne Shaffer & Annie Barrows. See Bookworms Book List for the 2010 book list.
