Tea and Tie – 12th April from 3-5 pm in St Paul’s Library

Do you know your ‘jacket’ from your ‘pretzel’? If not, come and find out how to tie your beautiful scarves the professional way by Dena Lyons. A donation of 5€ per person is suggested.

Dena will show members and guests how to tie their scarves to show off their beautiful designs. Dena is a local artist who has used the Mediterranean for inspiration in her paintings and her scarf designs, some of which she will bring with her to demonstrate how to tie a scarf to its best advantage while enjoying tea and cakes.

The printing side of her passion was as the result of an onlooker of her painting outdoors in Monaco suggesting that she start printing her paintings onto supports including porcelain and pillows. This was the spark for the creation of her scarf and clothing company branded Dena Lyons.

Dena also has magnet pins in case people have a fear of tying the knots.
